Cable Ties THSC 23A Leibowitz US/Can/Mex Purpose of Project is to develop a set of national standard sheet differences to IEC 62275, Cable Ties, that are identical for use in Canada, Mexico and the USA. Project requested on 12/31/06. ANCE and Bticino expressed interest as of 02/08/07. Canadian support endorsed by J. Neu on 3/26/07. The standard is currently being processed for SDO Preliminary Technical Review. The THSC has set a goal of reaching SDO consensus by year-end 2008. LED Light Sources with Integral Power Supplies THC 34 Boesenberg US/Can/Mex Purpose of Project is to specify the minimum safety requirements for component parts of a Light Emitting Diode (LED) light source with an integral power supply, etc. Project request submitted on 2/14/07. Harmonization of Motors and Generators for Use in Hazardous Locations THC 2 BucksonUS/Can/Mex Purpose of Project is to reactivate the activity relative to hazardous motors and generators covered by UL 674, CSA C22.2 No. 145 and Mexican NOM 283 standards. Submitted 4/20/07. EFC has requested UL involvement 8/20/07. UL has responded and requested additional information 8/22/07. THC roster info being collected as of 08/27/07. Project is being reactivated in 2008. First meeting will be held May 1-2, 2008.
