The 26th Annual General Meeting of CANENA will take place in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., on February 21 and 22, 2018. The program will focus on Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. as an accredited standards developer and on product certification, electrical installation code, and conformity assessment in the United States, putting the U.S. safety system, and U.S. regional cooperation into a global context. This meeting will enable attendees to relate what we’ve learned from focusing on the safety system of Mexico and Canada over the past two years to truly put our broader regional cooperation in a global context.
You will benefit from the meeting presentations; breakout session on “New Trends in Conformity Assessment in the U.S.” and panel discussion on the “Impact of changes to NAFTA on Standardization and Conformity Assessment”; surrounding discussions and your viewpoints will add value for all attendees. The planned programs for the February 21 Members Forum and February 22 Council meeting plenary sessions are provided on this site, as well as general information about Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and travel advice.
